Istanbul Cappadocia Konya Pamukkale Antalya
This is the trip our travellers message us about for years afterwards. Twelve days, one country that feels like three: the call to prayer rolling over Istanbul's rooftops at Fajr, hundred-year-old cave houses in Cappadocia, and the blinding white travertines of Pamukkale before the crowds arrive.
We start in Istanbul, where you'll pray at the Blue Mosque, wander Hagia Sophia with a guide who explains both its Byzantine and Ottoman lives, and take a private Bosphorus cruise at sunset — Europe on one side, Asia on the other, tea in hand.
Then we fly east. In Cappadocia you'll lift off in a hot air balloon before sunrise over the fairy chimneys, walk the Ihlara Valley, and sleep in an actual cave hotel carved into volcanic rock. We pause in Konya for Rumi, then descend to Pamukkale's thermal terraces and finish on Antalya's coast with two slow days by the Mediterranean.
Through all of it: every meal halal and vetted, every prayer time built into the day, no alcohol anywhere in the group, and a maximum of sixteen travellers so the van never feels like a bus tour. Around 60% of the group joins solo — you'll arrive alone and leave with people you'll book the next trip with.
Muslim-owned or certified kitchens, verified by our Istanbul team. No pork, no alcohol, no guessing.
Daily timings shift with the prayer calendar. Long drives are broken with mosque and wudu stops.
Süleymaniye, Çamlıca, Konya's Mevlâna complex and Friday prayer at a historic Istanbul mosque.
A clear group code of conduct, sister room-sharing, and a women-led July departure.
Airport transfer, hotel check-in and a slow first evening. We gather for Maghrib at the Hagia Sophia complex, then a welcome dinner on a rooftop in Eminönü — meze, grilled sea bass and kunefe, with the Bosphorus glittering below.
Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace with a licensed guide, then the Grand Bazaar for those who want to haggle. Late afternoon we board a private boat for a Bosphorus sunset cruise past Maiden's Tower, Rumeli Fortress and the waterfront palaces.
Morning at the Spice Bazaar for saffron, pistachios and Turkish delight, then a ferry to the Asian side. We climb to Çamlıca Mosque — the largest in Türkiye — for Dhuhr with a view over the whole city, and finish with çay and simit in Üsküdar.
A short morning flight to Kayseri or Nevşehir, then into the valleys. We check into a cave hotel in Göreme — rooms literally carved into the rock — and walk Pigeon Valley at golden hour before dinner with a local family.
A 4:30am pick-up, tea while the envelopes inflate, then lift-off as the sun breaks over the fairy chimneys — an hour drifting over Göreme's valleys. Back for breakfast, then the Göreme Open Air Museum's rock-cut churches and a pottery workshop in Avanos.
A gentle 4km walk along the Melendiz river in Ihlara Gorge, lunch at a riverside trout farm, then down eight levels into the Kaymaklı underground city — a Byzantine-era refuge carved 85 metres into the rock.
We stop in Konya for the Mevlâna Museum — Rumi's mausoleum, green-tiled and quietly overwhelming — with time for Dhuhr in the adjoining mosque complex. Then a scenic drive west to Pamukkale, arriving for dinner and an early night.
Up early for the white calcium terraces before the tour buses arrive — barefoot across the travertines, warm water to your ankles. We pair it with Hierapolis: a Roman theatre, the necropolis and Cleopatra's thermal pool for those who want a swim.
South to the Mediterranean. We wander Kaleiçi's old harbour inside Roman walls, walk through Hadrian's Gate, then cool off at the Düden waterfalls where the river drops straight into the sea. Seafood dinner on the marina.
Yours to spend: an optional boat trip along the coast to hidden bays, a traditional hammam, or simply the resort pool and a long lunch. Your leader will book whatever the group fancies — or you can do absolutely nothing.
A morning flight back to Istanbul, an afternoon for last-minute shopping at the Arasta Bazaar or a final Turkish coffee, then a farewell dinner where everyone swaps numbers, photos and plans for the next trip.
Breakfast, then a private transfer to Istanbul Airport timed to your flight. If you're extending to an Umrah+ add-on or a few extra nights, we'll hand you over to the same team — no re-explaining anything.

Stone-carved suites with thick walls and arch ceilings — warm in winter, cool in summer, and a terrace for the balloons.
A four-star resort inside the old harbour walls: pool, private beach platform and halal kitchen on site.

"Fajr at the Blue Mosque, then balloons over Cappadocia the same week. Our guide knew every prayer time and every good halal kitchen — I didn't have to think once."
"I joined solo and was nervous — by day two it felt like family. The cave hotel was unreal and Pamukkale at 7am was worth the alarm."
"Sisters-only departure, female guide, and the group was so respectful. Antalya at the end was the perfect wind-down."

Yes — the itinerary is built around prayer times, not the other way round. We schedule mosque stops into every day (Süleymaniye, Çamlıca, and local mosques in each city), hold Friday prayer in Istanbul at a historic mosque, and build in flexibility for wudu and longer travel days.
